Projects

A closer look at a few projects, why they mattered, and what we actually shipped.

I’m lucky to work with and to have worked with talented creative and business professionals.

If you’ve done this work for any amount of time, you know the importance of collaboration toward a final product.

Marketing

Email campaigns

That email is a worn path for consumers may be a mixed bag of advantages and challenges for businesses. Winning in this crowded space means communicating value quickly and in ways that stand out while respecting channel best practices.

Marketing

web copy

Content. Microcontent. I suppose content strategy might be called macrocontent. I’ve done things across all available sizes.

Messaging is as much design as copy. The best web experiences remain sensitive to users’ information and visual needs. That’s why writing for the web means close collaboration with UX and design teams to deliver optimal experiences.

A clean wooden desktop showcasing a carefully arranged creative workspace, featuring an open sleek laptop displaying a minimalist portfolio grid of storytelling, marketing, and making projects. Beside it, a stack of neatly printed case studies with visible layout blocks (no readable text) fans out, along with color swatch cards and a closed sketchbook with marker pens resting on top. Soft natural daylight from an unseen window to the left casts gentle, directional light, creating subtle shadows and a professional, focused mood. Photographed from a slightly elevated angle with shallow depth of field, the laptop and printed work are in crisp focus while the background—blurred shelves with neutral decor—supports a clean, modern, photographic realism aesthetic suitable for a professional creative portfolio homepage.

Goosehead Insurance

Customers need to be able to quickly see the value of a digital experience. Messaging hierarchy and focus needs to be centered on their needs. Goosehead’s legacy site was brand-centered and didn’t give audiences clear reasons to engage.

A customer-oriented tagline, modernized navigation, and consumable value propositions delivered a better experience for core audiences.

A modern white shelf system in a minimalist office displaying a sequence of project artifacts: a bound strategic marketing deck, a set of branded product mockup boxes, a row of labeled storage binders, and a tablet on a stand looping through abstract frames of a video story (no readable text). Subtle accent objects, like a small geometric sculpture and a neutral-toned ceramic vessel, provide visual rhythm without distraction. Soft, indirect daylight from a nearby window washes the scene in even, cool light, creating a calm, organized atmosphere. Captured at a three-quarter angle with moderate depth of field, the central shelf items remain sharp while the foreground and background gently soften, emphasizing a curated, professional portfolio of integrated storytelling and making in photographic realism.

Branding

Brand strategy, development, governance, and evolution.

I’ve shepherded brands of various sizes and maturity levels. From established legacy brands with sub-brands serving B2C and B2B audiences to younger brands at the inflection point of hypergrowth. Even startups working to gain mind and market share.

This work involves tone of voice, channel strategies, audience insights, visual identity, and more.
